6.1.8. Removal, check and installation of forward brake shoes

Removal
Unscrew the bottom bolt of a support, lift up and fix it a wire (fig. 6.19). Take out brake shoes.

ATTENTION
At the removed brake shoes do not press a brake pedal.

Check
Measure thickness of a frictional layer of a block. Be convinced of lack of a zamaslivaniye of a block.

ATTENTION
Blocks of brakes of one bridge always replace at the same time. Do not establish a block of different types and manufacturers.
|
All four blocks are replaced with a set.
At replacement of blocks check absence of their deformation. At spring replacement carefully remove all dirt.
Check old blocks on deformation and destruction (fig. 6.20). Thickness of a block:
The nominal: 11 mm
The limiting: 2 mm
Installation
Establish in directing springs of a block.

NOTE
The indicator of wear of a block should be directed up to the piston.
|
By means of the special tool (09581-11000) get pistons in a support (fig. 6.22).
|
ATTENTION
Do not allow greasing hit on blocks and a brake disk.

Establish the bottom (directing) bolt of a support and tighten it the regulated moment (fig. 6.24). Moment of an inhaling of 22-32 N · m.
