6.1.4. Check and adjustment of a course of the lever of the parking brake

Lift the lever of the parking brake with effort about 196 N and count up number of clicks.

If the size of a course of the lever of the parking brake (number of clicks) does not correspond to nominal rate, adjust a lever course rotation of an adjusting nut on the equalizer of a cable of a drive of the parking brake (fig. 6.8).

The control lamp of brake system dies away at completely lowered lever of the parking brake and lights up at a lever raising on one tooth of a ratchet (click). If work of a control lamp differs from specified, replace a lamp.

After adjustment check lack of a prikhvatyvaniye of back brakes at completely lowered lever of the parking brake.
