5.1.2. A steering with the amplifier

Will hang out forward wheels of the car and establish safety racks under the car.

Disconnect a returnable hose from a tank of hydrosystem of the amplifier and close a stopper the tank union.

Connect an additional hose to a returnable hose and merge working liquid in suitable capacity.

Disconnect wires of a high voltage from ignition coils.

For full plum of working liquid scroll a cranked shaft of the engine several short-term inclusions of a starter at continuous turns of a steering wheel to the left and to the right against the stop.

Connect a returnable hose to a tank and fix it a collar.

Fill a tank of hydrosystem of the amplifier with recommended liquid.

Recommended working liquid: PSF-3.

Refueling capacity: 0,75–0,8 l.

Start the engine.

Check absence of leakages of working liquid from connections of hoses, then muffle the engine.

Fill a tank with recommended liquid before the bottom position of the filter of a tank.

Remove air from hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering.

Fill a tank of hydrosystem of the amplifier with recommended liquid to a label "MOVE".

Will hang out forward wheels of the car.

Disconnect wires of a high voltage from ignition coils. Scroll a cranked shaft of the engine several short-term inclusions of a starter at continuous turns of a steering wheel to the left and to the right against the stop five or six times during 15–20 pages.

NOTE During removal of air it is necessary to add constantly liquid and to watch, that its level did not fall below the bottom position of the filter.

If removal of air to make at the working engine, will occur подсос air and it will get to working liquid. Therefore remove air from hydrosystem only at a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft of the engine with a starter.

Connect wires of a high voltage to ignition coils, then start the engine and leave it to idle.

Turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop before disappearance of vials of air in a tank of hydrosystem of the amplifier.

NOTE Do not hold a steering wheel in extreme situation (it is turned against the stop) more than 10 pages.

Be convinced of that working liquid is transparent, without turbidity, and its level is in a tank between labels "MOVE" and «MIN» on a tank wall.

Be convinced of minor change of level of liquid in a tank at the left and right turns of a steering wheel (fig. 5.10).

NOTE If level of liquid changes more than on 5 mm, it is necessary to make air removal from hydrosystem of the amplifier repeatedly. If liquid level sharply raises after an engine stop then air is removed from hydrosystem not completely. At incomplete removal of air from hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering there are extraneous jingling noise from the pump of the hydraulic booster and the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid that leads to reduction of service life of the pump and other elements of hydrosystem.

Disconnect a delivery hose from the pump of the hydraulic booster. Connect special adaptations between a delivery hose and the pump of the hydraulic booster, as is shown in drawing 5.11.

Remove air from hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering. Then start the engine and on the motionless car turn a steering wheel several times that the temperature of liquid rose approximately to 50 °C.

Establish power setting of 1000 ^mines-1.

Completely close the otsechka valve on a measuring manometer, measure pressure of giving of the pump of the hydraulic booster and check its compliance to nominal rate.

Pressure of giving of the pump (nominal rate): 7500–8200 kPas.

ATTENTION On a measuring manometer it is not necessary to leave the otsechka valve closed more than on 10 villages.

Disconnect special adaptations, connect a delivery hose and tighten hose fastenings by the specified moment of an inhaling of 55-65 N · m.

Remove air from hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering.
