5.1.11. Removal, dismantling, check and assembly of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering

Removal
Disconnect a delivery hose from the pump of the hydraulic booster.
Disconnect an inlet hose from a connecting flange on the pump of the hydraulic booster and merge working liquid in suitable capacity.
Weaken bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster before removal of a belt of a drive of the pump.

Weaken a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of the pump (fig. 5.77).

Remove a belt of a drive of the pump from a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.78). Completely unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster and a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of the pump.
Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering assembled.

NOTE
Be careful at pump removal, do not spill the liquid being in it (fig. 5.79).

Remove an arm of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
Dismantling
Remove a connecting flange of an inlet hose and ring laying from the pump of the hydraulic booster.

Weaken four bolts of fastening and uncover the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.80). Remove a kulachkovy washer.
Remove a rotor and blades.
Remove a lateral plate.

NOTE
At assembly of the pump establish new laying of a cover of the pump and new ring laying.

Clamp a pulley of a drive of the pump in a vice, unscrew a nut of fastening and remove a spring washer (fig. 5.83). Remove a pulley from a shaft of a drive of the pump.
Remove a lock ring by means of a stripper of lock rings, then remove the rasporny plug boot (fig. 5.84).

In easy blows of a plastic hammer from a rotor beat out a shaft of a drive of the pump (fig. 5.85).

By means of a screw-driver take an epiploon from the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.86).

NOTE
At pump assembly always establish a new epiploon.

Remove the union from the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster, then take the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid and a valve spring (fig. 5.87). Remove ring laying from the union.

ATTENTION
Do not assort the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid.
|
Check
Check length of a spring of the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid in a free condition (without loading).
Length of a spring of the valve in a free condition: 36,5 mm.
Check the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid on absence of deformation (bend).
Check a shaft of a drive of the pump on lack of wear or damages.
Check a belt of a drive of the pump on lack of wear or condition deterioration.
Check lack of "step" wear of blades and rotor grooves.
Check lack of "step" wear on a surface of contact of blades and a kulachkovy washer.
Check absence of damages on blades.
Check lack of paths of wear on a lateral plate or contacting sites between shaft of a drive and a pump cover.

Establish a valve spring, the valve of regulation of a consumption of liquid and the union in the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.88).
By means of the special tool establish a new epiploon in the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.89).

Insert a shaft of a drive of the pump assembled into the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster, then establish the rasporny plug boot and a lock ring (fig. 5.90).

Establish a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.91). Establish a spring and internal ring laying.

Insert external ring laying into a lateral plate, then establish a lateral plate in the case of the pump of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.92).

Establish lock pins in openings of the case of the pump, then establish a kulachkovy washer, giving particular attention to the correct direction of installation (fig. 5.93). Establish a rotor.

Establish blades so that their rounded end faces were outside (from a kulachkovy washer) (fig. 5.94).

Establish laying and a pump cover assembled (fig. 5.95). Establish ring laying and a connecting flange of an inlet hose.
Installation

After installation of an arm and the pump put on a pump pulley a belt of a drive and adjust its tension. Tighten a bolt of adjustment of a tension the regulated moment (fig. 5.96). Inhaling moment: 35–50 N · m.
Connect an inlet hose.
Tighten fastening of a delivery hose on the pump of the hydraulic booster.

NOTE
At installation of a delivery hose be convinced that it is not overwound and there is no possibility of its contact to other details of the car.
|
Fill hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering with recommended working PSF-3 liquid.
Remove air from hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering.
Check pressure of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
