4.3.1. Removal, dismantling, check and installation of a back amortizatorny rack

Removal
Remove back wheels.
Remove the safety cover located in a luggage carrier.
Disconnect a brake hose and a wire of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel from a back rack of a suspension bracket.
Remove stabilizer racks.

Unscrew two bolts of fastening of a back rack of a suspension bracket to a fist of a back wheel (fig. 4.43).

ATTENTION
Be careful, do not drop a back rack.

Remove a back rack assembled from the car.

By means of the special tool (J38402, A-20 and A-50) compress a rack spring so that impact on cups of a spring was minimum (fig. 4.44).

NOTE
Do not apply the pneumatic tool (shock гайковерт).

Unscrew самоконтрящуюся a nut on the top end of a rod of the shock-absorber.
Remove a dempfiruyushchy support of a rack, the top cup of a spring, a spring and a protective cover from a rack assembled.

Check
Check a dempfiruyushchy support of a rack on lack of wear or damage.
Check rubber details on absence of damages or deterioration of a technical condition.
Check a spring and a rack assembled on lack of wear or deformation (a prosedaniye and decrease in rigidity).

Check the shock-absorber on lack of abnormal resistance to moving of a rod and extraneous noise (fig. 4.45).

Establish the bottom pro-rate of a spring so that ledges on it were combined with openings in the bottom cups of a spring (fig. 4.46).
Establish a protective cover on the shock-absorber.

By means of the special tool (J38402, A-42) compress a spring (fig. 4.47).
Put forward a shock-absorber rod against the stop, establish the top cup of a spring and a dempfiruyuushchy support of a rack assembled.

NOTE
Combine a flat part of a D-shaped opening of the top cup of a spring with лыскои a bezrezjbovy part of a rod of the shock-absorber (fig. 4.48).

Combine the top and bottom rounds of a spring with the corresponding dredging on the top and bottom cups of a spring of a rack, then temporarily tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut (fig. 4.49).

ATTENTION
Replace самоконтрящуюся a nut new after removal.

At installation arrange a dempfiruyuushchy support of a rack so that its bolt was combined with a ledge of the top cup of a spring, as is shown in drawing 4.50.
Remove special the tool (J38402, A-20 and A-50).
Tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut the nominal moment of 40-55 N · m.
