Connect wires from plugs 12 In storage batteries (via the switch) to «S» conclusions (+) and «M» (–) the traction relay (fig. 7.56). Establish the switch in situation "Incl.", thus the leading gear wheel of a starter will be pushed forward against the stop.

ATTENTION
It is necessary to make this check quickly, no more than 10 with, for prevention of a peregoraniye of a winding of a starter.

With the help щупа measure an axial gap between a leading gear wheel and a restrictive ring. If the axial gap does not correspond to a range of nominal rates, adjust it by installation or removal of adjusting laying between the traction relay and a forward arm of a starter (fig. 7.57). Nominal gap: 0,5–2,0 mm.
