6.1.9. Dismantling, check and assembly of a brake supportRemove a forward wheel.
Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a brake hose to a support.
Unscrew bolts of fastening of the cylinder of a support.
Remove the cylinder and brake shoes.
|
Fig. 6.25. Bolts of fastening of a support to a rotary fist
|
Unscrew bolts of fastening of a support to a rotary fist (fig. 6.25).
Remove a support.
Dismantling
Remove a piston boot.
By means of the compressed air squeeze out the piston from a support (fig. 6.26).
|
Fig. 6.27. Removal of consolidation of the piston
|
By means of a screw-driver remove from a support piston consolidation (fig. 6.27).
NOTE
Do not place fingers between the piston and a support.
Be careful, do not spray brake liquid.
|
Check
Check a support on lack of wear, cracks, rusts in openings under pistons.
Estimate a condition of pistons. At wear or teases replace the piston.
Check a plug and finger condition.
Be convinced of absence of damages of springs of blocks and boots of pistons.
|
Fig. 6.28. Measurement of thickness and palpation of a brake disk
|
Measure thickness and palpation of a brake disk (fig. 6.28).
ATTENTION
Do not restore a piston surface an emery paper.
It is impossible to establish all rubber details repeatedly.
|
Thickness of a brake disk
The nominal: 24 mm.
The limiting: 22,4 mm.
Disk palpation: 0,08 mm, no more.
Difference of thickness of a brake disk: 0,01 mm.
NOTE
The difference of thickness of a brake disk is defined by a difference of the minimum and maximum thickness measured in eight points on a circles approximately in 10 mm from edge of a disk.
|
Palpation of a disk is determined by a circle in 5 mm from disk edge.
At impossibility of carrying out repair replace a brake disk.
Assembly
Wash out all details (except blocks and laying of blocks) isopropyl alcohol.
Grease piston consolidation by special greasing and establish consolidation in a flute of an opening of a support.
Grease with special greasing a support opening under the piston, an external surface of the piston and a boot.
|
Fig. 6.30. Scheme of installation of the piston and boot
|
Establish a boot on the piston, as is shown in drawing 6.30.
Insert a boot into a flute of an opening of a support, push the piston in a support.
|
Fig. 6.31. The scheme of assembly of sliding parts of a support
|
Grease with special greasing the plug, a finger and a support opening under the plug. Grease also plug and finger boots.
Establish a boot in a flute of an opening of a support.
Establish brake shoes.
NOTE
Do not allow greasing hit on blocks and a brake disk.
Before an inhaling of bolts be convinced that surfaces of a sliding finger and a directing bolt are not damaged.
Pump over brake system. Be convinced of absence of leakages of brake liquid.
