2.4.2. Centrifugal pump of system of cooling

Removal
Merge cooling liquid and disconnect a connecting hose of a bringing pipe of system of cooling from the pump of cooling liquid.
Remove a belt of a drive of the generator and a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.
Remove covers of a belt of a drive of GRM and directing roller of a belt of a drive of GRM.
Unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump of cooling liquid, then remove an adjusting level of the generator.
Remove the pump of cooling liquid assembled from the block of cylinders.
Check
Check each detail on lack of cracks, damage or wear, and replace the pump of cooling liquid assembled if it is necessary.
Check the bearing on absence of the damage, the increased noise at work and slow rotation, and replace the pump of cooling liquid assembled if it is necessary.
Check the pump on existence of leakages of liquid. Leaks through an opening "About" (fig. 2.175) indicate a leakage of consolidations of a shaft of the pump. In the presence of leaks replace the pump.
Installation
Clear surfaces of interface of the water pump and the block of cylinders.
Establish covers of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism.
Establish a pulley of the water pump and a drive belt, adjust a tension of a belt of a drive.
Fill in in system cooling liquid.
Start the engine and be convinced of absence of leakages of liquid.

Establish the water pump with new laying and tighten bolts of fastening the specified moment (fig. 2.176). The moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of the water pump to the block of cylinders:
engines in working volume of 1,6 l – bolts "And" 12–15 N · m, bolts "In" 20–27 N · m;
engines in working volume of 1,8 l – 20–27 N · m.
