Removal
Remove a forward wheel.

Remove stabilizer racks assembled (fig. 4.37).

Remove arms of fastening of the stabilizer and the stabilizer plug (fig. 4.38).
Remove the stabilizer of cross-section stability.
Check
Check the stabilizer of cross-section stability on absence of damages or deformation.
Check all bolts on absence of deformation and damages.
Check protective covers of spherical hinges of racks of the stabilizer on lack of cracks and damages.

Check the moment of rotation of a finger of the spherical hinge of a rack of the stabilizer (fig. 4.39).
In the presence of cracks or ruptures of a protective cover of the spherical hinge replace it and add greasing in the hinge.
Several times shake a finger of the spherical hinge of a rack of the stabilizer.
Screw самоконтрящуюся a nut on a finger of the spherical hinge and then measure the moment of rotation of a finger.
Nominal rate: 1,7–3,2 N · m.
If the moment of rotation exceeds the top limit of nominal rate, replace a stabilizer rack.
If the rotation moment is considered less bottom limit of nominal rate, the spherical hinge suitable for further operation while there is no jamming and an excessive gap in the spherical hinge.

Installation
Establish plugs on the stabilizer of cross-section stability.

NOTE
The distance between edge of the plug and edge the painted white paint of an adjusting label on the stabilizer from an external part of the car should make 10 mm (fig. 4.40).

Establish an arm of fastening of the stabilizer on the plug (fig. 4.41).
Completely combine the plug with an adjusting label on the stabilizer, the painted white paint. Temporarily tighten bolts of an arm of fastening of the stabilizer, then establish a fastening arm from the opposite side of the stabilizer.
