The buzzer of the sound alarm system at inclusion of tail antifog light works, when back antifog lamps burn and the door of the driver is open.

ATTENTION
Do not open a radiator stopper, while the engine hot. The system of cooling is under pressure, and opening of a stopper can lead to emission of hot liquid that can cause strong burns. Wait, while the engine will cool down before opening a radiator stopper.
The arrow of this index should be in norm limits. If the arrow of the index in operating time of the engine entered into the zone "N" ("hot") scales, immediately stop the car and muffle the engine. Open a cowl and check level of cooling liquid in a broad tank and a belt of a drive of the pump of cooling liquid.

Speedometer

The speedometer shows the current speed of movement.

NOTE
Work of a speedometer is influenced by a standard size of the tires established on the car. If the size of tires (diameter, but not width) changed in comparison with the tires established at plant, address on service station for reprogramming of a control system by the engine. It is recommended to address on the authorized service station Hyundai. If not to make reprogramming, the speedometer will show the wrong speed.

Tachometer

The tachometer shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in revolutions per minute (об. / mines). The tachometer helps to choose more economic mode of driving, and also warns that frequency of turns of a cranked shaft of the engine exceeds the most admissible value.

ATTENTION
During movement watch tachometer indications. His shooter showing frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine, should not enter into a red zone (a zone of excess of the most admissible frequency of rotation).

Odometer (counter of the passable way) / counter of "daily" run

By pressing the button of dumping (zeroing) when the ignition key will turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") indications on the display are replaced in the order given below.

The odometer shows the general distance in kilometers or the miles, passable by the car, and is very convenient for control of intervals of carrying out periodic maintenance.
Counter of "daily" run.
The counter of "daily" run shows distance in miles or the kilometers, passed for two trips.
TRIP A (run And): run from the trip beginning to intermediate point.
TRIP B (run In): run from intermediate point till the end of a trip.
The pressing the button of dumping (zeroing) allows to switch TRIP A (run And) to TRIP B (run In). For dumping of indications of the counter press the button of dumping (zeroing).

The route computer is an electronic device of display on the liquid crystal display of information on a trip – indications of the counter of run, average speed and estimated run on the fuel which has remained in a tank.

Button of dumping (zeroing)
Information on the multipurpose display is nulled by pressing the button of dumping (zeroing).

Thus there is a change of indications on the display (cм. fig. 1.31).

Run on the fuel which has remained in a tank
In this mode estimated run on the fuel which has remained in a tank is shown.
In case of a dolivka more than 6 лтоплива in a tank the route computer defines refueling.
After installation or connection of the storage battery data on run on the fuel which has remained in a tank will be specified after the car will pass 32 km.

NOTE
Information on run on the fuel which has remained in a tank can differ from values of real run because of changes of conditions of a trip. Besides, information can change because of changes of conditions of a trip, a manner of driving and speed of a trip.

Average speed
In this mode average speed is shown from the moment of the last zeroing of time of a trip.
By pressing the button of dumping (zeroing) in a mode of display of average speed during 1 with there is a dumping of average for about 0 speeds.

Trip time
In this mode the general time of a trip is shown from the moment of the last zeroing of time of a trip. By pressing the button of dumping (zeroing) in a mode of display of time of a trip during 1 with there is a dumping of time of a trip on 0.
Control lamp of indication of malfunction of additional system of passive safety (SRS) (SRI) (the additional equipment).
This control lamp (SRI) lights up and blinks approximately during 6 with the ambassador of turn of the ignition key in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") or after engine start then dies away.
This control lamp also lights up in case of malfunction of additional system of passive safety (SRS). If the control lamp (SRI) does not light up or continues to burn constantly after a blinking during about 6 with the ambassador of turn of the ignition key in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") or lights up during car movement, provide the car to the official dealer of Hyundai for check of additional system of passive safety (SRS).
Control lamp of indication of malfunction of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS) (SRI) (the additional equipment).
After ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl."), the control lamp of indication of malfunction of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS SRI) lights up and then dies away, in some seconds.
If this lamp continues to burn, lights up during movement or does not light up after ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl."), it indicates malfunction of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS). If it occurred, it is necessary to address as soon as possible to the official dealer of Hyundai for car check. The standard brake system will continue to work, but without the aid of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS).

ATTENTION
If the control lamp of indication of malfunction of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS SRI) and a control lamp of inclusion of a lay brake / emergency level of brake liquid continue to burn after start of the engine or light up during car movement, malfunction of E.B.D system (electronic system of distribution of brake efforts) is possible. If it occurred, avoid sharp braking and as soon as possible address to the official dealer of Hyundai for car check.

Control lamp of switching off of raising transfer (the additional equipment).
When raising transfer is included, the control lamp of switching off of raising transfer is extinguished. At switching off of raising transfer this lamp burns with red color.

Control lamps of indexes of turns.
On the dashboard the green arrow specifying the direction of turn blinks. If the arrow lights up, but does not blink, blinks too often or does not blink absolutely, it indicates malfunction of an electric chain of indexes of turns.

Control lamp of inclusion of a driving beam of headlights.
This control lamp burns, when the driving beam of headlights is included or the blinking is carried out by light of headlights.

Control lamp of pressure of oil.
Movement at low level of oil in the engine or at a burning control lamp of pressure of oil can lead to engine failure (to education задиров, to jamming, etc.). If this lamp lights up at the working engine, pressure of oil in the engine below minimum admissible size means. In good repair this lamp lights up at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") and dies away after engine start. If this lamp continues to burn after engine start, there is a serious malfunction of the engine. In this case immediately stop the car in a safe place, muffle the engine and check oil level in the engine.
If level of oil is lower than minimum admissible value, add oil in the engine to normal level and start the engine again. If the lamp continues to burn after engine start, immediately switch off it.

Control lamp of inclusion of a lay brake / emergency level of brake liquid.
Work of a control lamp.
The control lamp of inclusion of a lay brake / emergency level of brake liquid should light up at turning on of the parking brake and at ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") or «START» ("starter"). After engine start this lamp should go out at switching off of the parking brake.
When the parking brake, a control lamp of inclusion of a lay brake / emergency level of brake liquid is switched off should light up at ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") or «START» ("starter") and to die away after engine start. If this lamp lights up during any other time, it is necessary to reduce speed of movement of the car and completely it to stop on a roadside in a safe place. The control lamp of brake system specifies that level of brake liquid in a tank of hydrosystem of brakes becomes below minimum admissible level and it is necessary to add brake DOT3 or DOT4 liquid.
If malfunctions of brake system are found, movement on the car is inadmissible. The car is equipped with double-circuit diagonal brake system. It means, what even in case of damage of one of contours of brake system, it is possible to use two wheels for braking. In that case the stop of the car will need bigger effort to pedals of a brake and a bigger course of a pedal of a brake. Moreover, the brake way of the car will be increased. In default one of contours of brake system include a low gear to use effect of braking by the engine for a car stop.

Control lamp of the category of the storage battery.
This lamp lights up, when the key in the lock of ignition is in the situation "ON" ("Vkl") and dies away after engine start. If this control lamp continues to burn after engine start, in system of a charging there is a malfunction. If the control lamp lights up during car movement, immediately stop the car and glance under a cowl. At first be convinced of an integrity of a belt of a drive of the generator if it is whole, check its tension.

ATTENTION
Weakening of a belt of a drive of the generator or its gap during movement of the car can result in serious malfunction of the engine. The engine can overheat, as this belt also puts in action the pump of cooling liquid of the engine.

The control alarm lamp about an open back door.
This lamp continues to burn, while the back door will not be completely closed.

The control alarm lamp about an open door.
This lamp warns that one of lateral doors of the car is leaky closed.

Control lamp of a reserve of fuel.
This lamp lights up, when fuel level in a fuel tank reaches minimum admissible reserve value. If this lamp burns, it testifies to need of refueling. Movement on the car at a burning control lamp of a reserve of fuel or if level of fuel is below the mark «Е» ("is empty"), can lead to admissions of ignition and to damage of catalytic converter of the fulfilled gases.

Control lamp of malfunction of the engine (MIL) (the additional equipment).
This lamp lights up at failure detection of the components (details) relating to systems of decrease in toxicity. It lights up also in that case when the ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl."), and then, in some seconds, it should go out (only on models with engine capacity of 1,5/1,6 l.).
This lamp lights up, when the ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl."), and then, dies away right after engine start (only on models with engine capacity of 1,8 l.). If this lamp lights up during movement of the car or does not light up after ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl."), provide the car to the closest official dealer of Hyundai for check of systems.

Control lamp of protivobuksovochny system (TCL) (the additional equipment).
This control lamp lights up according to position of the ignition key and specifies that this system works.
The lamp lights up at ignition key turn in the situation "ON" ("Incl.") and dies away in some seconds.

Buzzer of the sound alarm system (the additional equipment)
The buzzer of the sound alarm system works, when back lamps burn and the door of the driver is open. It serves for prevention of the category of the storage battery when the car remains with burning back lamps. This buzzer will work until back lamps will be switched off.

Buzzer of the prevention of the switched-on parking brake (the additional equipment)
If the car moves with a speed more than 10 km/h during 2–3 with and the parking brake warning a buzzer constantly is switched on works.

The buzzer signaling about wear of brake shoes
Brake shoes of forward disk brakes have indicators of wear which publish a high-pitched squealing sound at a block wear-out, signaling about need of replacement of forward brake shoes. During car movement this sound can appear and disappear or be constant. He can be heard also by strong pressing a brake pedal. In case of driving with worn-out brake shoes it is possible to damage a brake disk.
