1.2.2. Locks of doors

ATTENTION Movement with not locked doors can be dangerous. Before a start of motion (especially if in the car there are children) be convinced that all doors are reliably closed and locked and cannot be casually open from within the car. It is a guarantee of that doors will not open unexpectedly during car movement. At the correct application of seat belts locking of doors promotes prevention of ejection of passengers from car salon in case of a road accident (failure). Before opening a door, be convinced of lack of coming nearer motor transport. At failure of a door are locked automatically (the additional equipment).

The door can be locked and unlocked by means of a key. to lock a door, turn a key towards a forward part of the car and that it to unlock, turn a key towards a back part of the car (fig. 1.9).

The door can lock without key use (fig. 1.10).

To lock doors outside of the car, at first establish the internal button of blocking of the lock of a door in the situation "LOCK" It ("is blocked") so that the red label on the end of the button was invisible, and then close a door. Keep in mind that the door will not be locked, if in the lock of ignition there is a key, and both forward doors are closed.

NOTE Locking doors without a key, be accurate, do not forget the ignition key in the car. For theft prevention always take out a key from the ignition lock, lift all glasses and lock all doors when leave the car without supervision.

To lock doors from within the car, simply close a door and establish the internal button of blocking of the lock of a door in the situation "LOCK" It ("is blocked") (fig. 1.11).

After that the door cannot be opened by means of external and internal handles of opening of a door.

NOTE When the door is blocked, instead of a red label on the end of the button there is an inscription of "LOCK" ("Is blocked").

The car is equipped with blocking of locks of back doors (protection against children) (fig. 1.12).

If levers of blocking of locks are in the provision of blocking, back doors cannot be opened from within the car. It is recommended to use blocking of locks of back doors if on back sitting there are small children.

In order that back doors could not be opened from within the car, move the lever of blocking of the lock of a door to situation and close a door. to return to usual operation of the lock of a door, move the lever of blocking of the lock of a door to the situation opposite to situation.

To open a back door in situation "is blocked" the blocking lever, use the external door handle.

The switch of the central blocking of locks of doors is located in an armrest of a door of the driver (fig. 1.13).

The central blocking of locks of doors operates by pressing a lobby or a back part of the switch. If by pressing the switch the door of the forward passenger or a back door is open, it will be blocked after its closing.

NOTE By pressing a back part of the switch of the central blocking of locks of doors locks of all doors (including a back door) will be unblocked. By pressing a forward part of the switch of the central blocking of locks of doors locks of all doors (including a back door) will be blocked.

The system of the central blocking of locks of doors works at key turn in the lock (model with anticreeping system: doors of the driver and forward passenger; models without anticreeping system: only doors of the driver) towards a lobby or a back part of the car.

When speed of the car exceeds 40 km/h during 23 with, locks of all doors are blocked with a view of safety of the driver and passengers. If to take out a key from the ignition lock, locks of all doors will be automatically blocked.
